LS Retail’s branch in Portugal has been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Information Technology (IT) 2024 according to Great Place to Work Portugal.
Every year, Great Place to Work evaluates companies based on employee culture and satisfaction in the workplace. To qualify for certification, companies must have 10 or more employees and complete the Trust Index Survey, which includes 60 statements and two open-ended questions regarding factors such as:
- Credibility: Can employees trust management in the workplace?
- Respect: Do employees feel appreciated at work?
- Pride: Are employees proud to be a part of the working environment?
- Camaraderie: Do employees collaborate well with their fellow colleagues?
- Fairness: Does the workplace treat employees fairly?
The responses are measured on a five-point scale, with five being the highest score. The scores are then totaled and averaged based on responses to determine a company-wide assessment of the culture. Companies that score above the threshold receive the highest Trust Indexes and become Great Place to Work Certified.
The announcement of the winning companies took place earlier this month at Double Tree by Hilton Lisbon – Fontana Park. For the first time in Portugal, more than 50 companies in the IT sector received high Trust Indexes from their employees, but only 25 were selected for the Great Place to Work Certification. We are thrilled to announce that LS Retail was one of those companies and has received recognition as one of the Best Places to Work in IT 2024!
