In 2008, Trung Nguyen Legend implemented LS Retail solution LS Nav along with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP to support its operations. The system effectively addressed the company's functional needs, supporting its business processes. However, as Trung Nguyen Legend experienced rapid business growth and faced increasingly complex regulatory requirements, the limitations of the on-premises setup became apparent. The system required frequent manual updates to keep up with new demands and opportunities, which led to inefficiencies, higher maintenance costs, and lack of agility. Recognizing the need for a more flexible and scalable IT infrastructure, the IT team at Trung Nguyen Legend decided to upgrade their on-premises setup from LS Nav to LS Central Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
Solution
The company selected Balas Technologies, a local LS Retail partner with extensive experience in the Vietnamese retail market, to carry out the implementation.
To ensure a successful go-live, Trung Nguyen Legend’s IT team and Balas Technologies collaborated closely from planning to execution. “We were able to move all 100 stores, representing over 10,000 daily orders, from offline to cloud in one batch, without any disruption to operations,” says Mr. Nguyen Nguyen, Project Lead at Trung Nguyen Legend.
