In recent years, SBK International has faced significant operational inefficiencies caused by its reliance on multiple systems, which include Lightspeed and Sage. “The lack of visibility into our operations was preventing us from making informed decisions to drive our business forward,” says Sammy Amor, President at SBK International.

As demand for vape products surged, the existing systems could no longer keep up with the growing workload. Specifically, managing thousands of SKUs, creating discount offers, fulfilling orders, generating sales reports, and handling shipment issues became increasingly challenging. To remain competitive, it became clear that SBK International needed to upgrade to a modern system capable of supporting this growth.

They were looking for a new solution that could:

  • streamline processes including inventory management, Point of Sale (POS), warehouse shipments, bin locations, business intelligence reporting, eCommerce, and financial management

Solution

To achieve these goals, SBK International partnered with Navisiontech, a local LS Retail partner, to guide them and implement a robust, reliable system. After evaluating several options, SBK International concluded that LS Central and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central were the ideal solutions to address their operational requirements. The company was particularly impressed by how these platforms connect key business areas, including ERP, traditional and mobile Point of Sale (POS), loyalty, inventory management, and eCommerce.

One of LS Central’s features that stood out is the LS Pay Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) solution which works seamlessly with both LS Central and Business Central. LS Pay enables fast and secure transactions at the POS, significantly improving the efficiency and reliability of payment, sales, and invoicing processes.

In addition to the capabilities of LS Central, SBK International chose Navisiontech as their implementation partner due to its deep expertise in this niche industry. Navisiontech successfully deployed LS Central SaaS across 52 retail stores and three franchise locations. The SaaS model was chosen for its flexibility, scalability, and cost-effectiveness, allowing the company to easily manage and update their system without the need for extensive IT infrastructure.
