Founded in 2001 by David and Capucine Gooding, Juliska is known for its detailed designs and high-quality materials like ceramics and glass. The brand’s collections include dinnerware, glassware, and accessories, for both everyday use and special occasions. Today, Juliska’s products are available in over 180 stores across the United States and Canada.

Business case

Before transitioning to LS Central and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Juliska had been using Microsoft Dynamics NAV since 2005 to manage its wholesale and distribution operations. As Juliska’s business expanded, they recognized that their outdated ERP system hindered efficiency and increased operational costs, which led them to consider an upgrade to a cloud-based system with the latest technology. The COVID-19 pandemic further accelerated their growth, highlighting the need for a solution that could better support the evolving demands of their supply chain.

During the cloud migration, Navisiontech carefully mapped Juliska’s business processes, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition. With a solid project plan in place, the team optimized their database to maintain integrity and adhere to business standards. “Having used Microsoft Dynamics NAV since 2005, Juliska’s database was large, so to reduce the upgrade time, we compressed, purged, and archived a lot of their data,” says Gregory Volkov, President & Solution Architect at Navisiontech. “We then simulated the upgrade several times to ensure optimal performance during the cutover.”

Navisiontech customized the system to meet Juliska’s unique requirements in supply chain management and inventory protection, incorporating advanced reservations. “To further enhance supply chain management, we implemented a fully integrated, mobile warehouse management solution, providing significant daily benefits,” says Volkov.
