The venue

conneXion EMEA 2025 will take place at the shared conference center of Eurostars Universal Lisboa 5* and Ikonik Lisboa 3*, located at Avenida do D. João II (13), Lote 1.12.01, Parque das Nações, Lisboa, 1990-221, Portugal.

Situated in the modern and vibrant Parque das Nações district, the venue offers cutting-edge facilities with convenient access to Lisbon’s cultural and business hubs.

How to reach the venue from the airport:

The conference center is approximately 4 kilometers (10 minutes by taxi) from Humberto Delgado Airport (Lisbon Airport - LIS). It is also accessible via public transport, with Oriente Station just a short walk away, offering metro, train, and bus connections for seamless travel.

Ticket prices include VAT

As the conference is being held in Portugal, the ticket purchase is subject to Portuguese Value Added Tax (VAT) in accordance with local tax regulations. Specifically, Article 6(1)(b) of the Portuguese VAT Code (Código do Imposto sobre o Valor Acrescentado) and Article 53 of the EU VAT Directive (Council Directive 2006/112/EC) establish that services related to events, including conferences, are taxed in the country where the event physically takes place.

Since the conference is being held in Portugal, all attendees, regardless of their country of origin, are required to pay Portuguese VAT on their ticket purchase. This applies even if the attendee’s business or organization is based outside Portugal, as the location of the event determines the place of taxation.

The VAT will be charged at the applicable rate and itemized on your invoice, ensuring compliance with Portuguese and EU tax regulations.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations needs to be sent in writing to events@lsretail.com and need to be confirmed by LS Retail:
  • Cancellations received by 31 January 2025 will be refunded 100% of pre-paid conference registration fees.
  • No refund of conference registration fees will be available for cancellations from 1 February 2025.
  • No refunds will be made for No Shows.
